New Member Orientation

At the new member orientation the veterans show the new members the facilities that we use to build our robots. The veterans also show the new members present slides of the jobs they did last year like being safety captains or helping in the woods and metal shops making the robot, they explain what each job does to the new members and show them the importance of each one.

Winter Party

We as a team also have a winter party where we as a team gather and play fun games with each other to get to know each other better and make the new members feel comfortable. Some of the games include many of our own games that we make such as wrapping treats in plastic wrap and unwrapping in a circle. We also have secret Santa where we make sure a veteran and a new member gets each other so we can build a bond as a team and know more about each other.
